I need help! I know nothing about stereos, but I do know that I want to replace my Shaker 500 in my 2005. I am looking to spend no more than $200. I definitely want a stereo that is iPod ready...that's the most important thing. I want really good sound, but I'm not one to play the stereo extremely loud. I just need some advice so that I get the best bang for my buck. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

 

i just bought the new pioneer deh-6000ub...it accepts all usb hookups, ie. ipod, iphone, jump drive

it retails for $279 but my brother in law works at circuit city so i got it for $200. easy to use and looks awesome.

usb hookup connects from the back of the unit so no wires showing. i ran mine underthe shifter boot and through my center console, threw about 600 songs on a jump drive, plugged it in and havent touched it since.

pioneer also has the deh-6900ub which is the same unit as the one i got, just the older model and isnt hd radio compatable but you should be able to pick it up cheaper...
