Default E-3 Spark Plugs

Hey y'all,

With all the threads around here concerning spark plug issues with our mustangs, I've decided to change out my spark plugs. I was looking at the Champions, but some people seem to be having problems. So...I was watching television yesterday and saw a commercial for these E-3 spark plugs.

Does anyone have any experience or any opinions regarding the E-3 Spark Plugs? I went to their site http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/ , but would like some other opinions as well.

What do y'all think? A viable solution?

P.S. I ran a search first and came up with no threads, so [8D] to those of you saying "use the search button." hehe

Not sure about the "problems with Champions" you are hearing about. They work perfect in my GT,they actually seem to perform better than the OEM plugs that I removed.

They were testing these on Horsepower TV last weekend. They were using their engine dyno. They got a little better HP and a little better MPG's.

But that doesn't mean anything to us as, if I remember right, they were using a chevy block. They seem to be a pretty new company, so there may not be much out there for comparisons and problems.

the do not make them for our car, and i have heard 1-2 problems with the new champions, but it was a bad plug. So you exchange the bad plug for a good plug and your problem is solved. Its not like they just arent compatible with out cars. It would be the same as getting a bad plug from motorcraft

They don't make one for the 4.6 3v, but they do list one for the 4.0 and the 5.4 SC. I thought the gt500 used a similar if not same plug design as the 4.6?

the regular 5.4l 3valve uses the same plug design, but the supercharged 5.4 uses 4 valve heads.

They are a traditional one-piece design that will not separate upon removal.

Wait. They don't make them for the 4.6L? Well that sucks...
