Curious... what were symptoms you saw prior to replacing fuel pumps (both times)?

My '05 has 28K on it and has not had a shop visit up until a week ago. Now I have intermittent problem were I get a "data fuel low error", gas gauge goes to empty. If I shut her down and restart, no error is seen and gauge is OK -but, I might have a check engine light for a few more days.

Goes back in for this and airbag recall tomorrow.
26k on my 05 and I had the exact same problem. "Fuel Data Error Fuel Level Low" in the info center. Dealer replaced the fuel pump. From what I understand it is a common problem with 05s. The fuel level sensor is to blame, there is nothing wrong with the fuel pump. I've also had my parking brake cables freeze, but i'm not surprised after the winter i just put her through lol.
gotcha!

Not clear on your reply...
You are saying that they first replaced fuel pump, but it didn't fix error, so they then replaced fuel level sensor?

Mine is in shop today for this - jury is still out on what they found.

Also replacing lower driver's seat cover because of a rip in leather seam

All this under warranty. It expires in July
