Hey i had a question for the v6ers that are supercharged. A person i know claims that his 06 auto v6 stang procharged at 12 psi, putting down 297 whp runs a 12.8 at the track with gears. Im kinda finding that are to believe since he is auto and only putting down a few more whp than I am but i run a 13.6 in the 1/4. Can you guys with the knowledge chime in on this to see if i should call BS on him? Thanks

nah, i really dont race much. I just do it for the fun of it at the track and see what i can get. It just baffles me how he has almost same numbers as I but he is .8 secs faster than me in the 1/4.

Its possible. I have seen GT's with 300rwhp run 12.8's

He will need Slicks, Alum Drive Shaft, Gears, (dont know about sixers diff's but probably a new diff to get both tires spinning)
Lower Control Arm's Upper Control Arms and some minor weight reductions.

I have a buddy with a Vortech S/C and he's pushin 343 RWHP at 12psi...297 doesnt seem right..

the supercharged 4.0s that have gotten low 12s were making over 350rwhp. With the hp # he gave you, he should be somewhere in the 13 sec range.

With his hp numbers.. he probably has the xcharger cali spec.. and should run in the mid 13 range unless he has other mods (gears, suspension, drag radials).. then it would be a little better... close to what he said.. but he would have to be a pretty good driver to get under 13 with under 300 hp and just gears.

BTW.. the best times from the 4.0s have been from autos.

With that setup the ET's sound right ... but the HP sounds low ...
