Guys, I am just kidding. Here it is.

Thanks!
This is the one color combination that makes me wonder if I messed up getting my Vista Blue Mustang GT with white stripes. I've always been rather concerned about dealing with a black car, but DAMN.....that looks VERY nice. Gotta say, that may be for me the best looking GT500 conversion I've ever seen. Needs 1/4 window louvers, buth other than that, I'd say that very close to perfection on four wheels that I've seen. I have my own tastes and often dont find myself going along with the "crowd" on what they think is good looking as far as cars go, but man oh man alloy, thats freaking an incredible looking car. Grats.

I had originally asked here which hood, but then I remembered (ok, i looked back earlier in the thread) and saw you got the trufiber. What was your overall bodyguy's impression of its manufacture. I guess either way, I just have that kinda luck that if there is 49 in a row of them made that are spot on, I'll be the lucky SOB who gets the ****ty #50, so not sure it'll matter. Congrats on an excellent mod being completed.

Crap, you got a whipple too? jeez, I need someone to come talk to my wife about how I'm NOT being unreasonable wanting to do my GT500 conversion AND a supercharger.

Sweet conversion. I want to pull off the same mod with mine. With Paint and labor, what kind of smack did it set you back to get "The LOOK"? I think I want the Super Snake hood.

As far as the whole poser thread, if you boil it all down, Shelby was just a tuner, like you guys. Take pride in your cars they look AWESOME!!!!

Andretti, the hood was pretty good from the start. I had NO fitment issues. What you see is exactly how it bolted up from day one, without adjusting bumpers. As far as complete finish, I do have to admit there is minor wrinkle, but only enough that you can notice very close, and with certain angles. I am not going for a concourse show car here, so for me, it is perfect.

As for talking to your wife, I was engaged before I did this to my car. Notice I say, "was." In all honesty, the car just helped me deal with it.

I got a question for those that did the bumper conversion... I'm placing an order Monday. The fog lights price is 75.22. Is that for both or just 1? Item # 7R3Z15200A. If it's for both, then I can get the kit locally for $1163.00. I just priced it out on there website and there asking for my vin#. I'm wondering if they'll only sell gt500 parts if you have a gt500 vin?

hehe, just curious. I've told my wife numerous times that if it wasnt for her I'd probably be bankrupt or at the very least in debt up to my eyeballs if we weren't married.

Well, anyway your car looks great. I'm excited to hear that the hood fit so well. It is starting to sound like some of the manufacturing issues I had heard about previously have started to disappear as they manufacture more. Thanks for the heads up on yours. Still....I know how my luck typically is.
