hey guys, where is the best place to purchase a TCI 3000 torque converter? i'm looking to buy one pretty soon as was looking around to see how much i'll be needing to spend to purchase one.

Keep in mind the install for that part is very high, it would only make sense if you were supercharged or cammed to justify the price.

getting the whipple h.o. kit installed monday or tuesday how much will install be around?

dang... id rather use that cash to get all my gauges for the kit then.. thanks for the help. guess i'll just get either the cdc black billet grill or the pro-kit instead for now.

TCI is complete junk do not waist your money. Check out Precision Industries.

i almost went with a pro torque custom converter. i was quoted 1350 with install.

damn that's a lot more than i planned on spending for this.. going to save my money for the gauges and install instead.

I got mine a couple of years ago from yearone. The Precision TC's then were plagued with problems. Looks like they got a good product now, lots of people running them.
Had my TCI in for over two years without any problems. I would probably go to a Precision if I raised my hp but I have no complaints.
