Default cant decide on tires

Ok so maybe someone can help me out here. Ive been looking to buy new wheels an tires for a long time now. I think im gonna go with the black DD wheels from american muscle. 18x9 in the front an the 18x10 in the rear. Now my problem is this. I gonna go with Nitto NT555 285/35/18 in the rear an Nitto NT555 265/35/18. Will this be fine to where i will have no rubbing or anything or should i go with 255 in the back. I just once your guys opinions on this.

Get the www.americanmuscle.com wheel package. Excellent quality and pricing and very fast shipping. I have their tires and am very satisfied. Good luck!!!

I would go with the 255/45 front, 285/40 rear, this will keep your overall diameter very close to the stock diameter. Sidewalls will be fairly close front and rear and the whole setup should provide good balance between ride and handling.

As for rubbing, I don't know. I've seen members running wider than 285 on the rear, matter of wheel offset I believe.

Are the Nitto's directional (meaning you can't swap them from side-to-side)? They look like it because of the tread design but I couldn't find any references indicating that they are directional.

I only mention this because I have the Sumitomo HTR ZII's and they are directional. I did not want a staggered set-up because of this, you'd havezero rotations. Something to check out.
