Can anyone confirm the size of the steering wheel center cap is 2 and 7/16. Its hard to tell if it is that size or 2.5”. Thanks in advance for the help!

Wow, thank you, I NEVER thought of that. You post has been very insightful.

Since the cap is a dome shape it is hard to get an accurate measurement, is only why I asked for another set of eyes, but no really thanks for all your help!

 

you can easily take it out and measure it

I was lead to believe it was part of my air-bag assembly. Thanks for your info, I’ll do just that!

You could also measure it in car with a micrometer like this:

 

Those are calipers.

Sorry to be a jerk, but I use them enough that I had to do it.

By the way, calipers were my first thought for measuring the emblem.
