Can I make this shine more?

RE: Can I make this shine more?
I have some serious bullet holes almost on the lip of the hood. The paint body man at Ford told me that the way these hoods are designed that it will be subject to a lot of damage. Do you buy that. Is this only noticeable on the black is there some regular color hoods who are suffering?

For a comparison, point your camera at the reflection with the flash centered, and use flash to shoot it.
Here's the same spot after:
claybar
Meguiar #84 compound
Meguiar DA Cleaner Polish
Meguiar Swirl remover
Meguiar Scratch-X
Meguiar Gold Class Wax
Meguiar Ultimate Detailer
Still needs some work, but not bad for a former Budget Rent-A-Car.

Just a few specs of dust...
realistically the many washes are needed, 1 spec of dirt left on that gets past the clay bar, and gets into the buffer.. will be a bad thing..
At times I find myself extremely obsessive.. however, when people ask me how I make it look so nice... it all pays off

Yes, it can be shinier.

Wash, clay, polish, clearcoat protect, carnauba, then aerosol carnauba detail spray. It ROCKS!
The stuff is on sale right now, too.. You can get a decent kit with most of the stuff you need for like ~$125..
