Shifting into Reverse trouble (Automatic)
Twice in the past few weeks i have went to shift into reverse and it just didnt quite feel like it went into gear even though it was right where it should be. when i went to touch the gas it revved slightly then BANGED into reverse pretty hard. the first time i thought it was a fluke, but now that it happened again im starting to wonder WTF is going on.
im bringing the car to ford this week for a little seat release lever replacing, and possibly getting the foam replaced that goes under the dash up by the windsheild because you can see it - i want them to address the trans issue while im there but i highly highly doubt i will be able to duplicate this problem while im there.
if anyone else has experienced this please let me know, some sort of answer would help troubleshoot this when i go. maybe shifter linkage out of adjustment? if so wouldnt other gears like drive or park not wanna go in properly?!?!?!

ive experieced it several times, when it happens it seems as if i dont allow the trans a chance to switch (i press the gas too fast) at least thats what i have noticed
it definately had a chance to shift, like after 5 seconds and im like WTF then i shift to park and back to reverse and its still not right - then i tap gas and CLUNK it goes into R. weird though, cause its only happened twice and each time was weeks apart.
