Only 180? I was wondering the same thing. I see no reason to waste 3-4 hours of my time doing this myself then. There are some things in life that I'd rather pay a professional to do and get done right the first time. I'm too lazy to even print the pages of the write up for 180 let alone do the work under the car!

^^^ thats a buncha bs.. $300..

I had a couple shops quote me that..

I finally found a good shop that would do it for 180. Granted they were mostly a ricer type of shop.. grr.. but they did a good job.

Keep looking.

please do it your self.

rear end

jack car up and leave no weight on rear end. losen shock bolts on bottom. keep jack under middle of rear and lower down slowly. pull springs out and install new springs. raise up rear with jack. bolt shocks back on and ur done.

front end.

lift car with no weight on a-arms. remove tire. 2 bolts on strut and also 1 bolt on sway bar connection. 2 tabs with 1 having a bolt. use floor jack under a-arm, losen top 4 bolts of strut under the hood. lower a-arm and the strut is now out. use spring compressors and clamp them pretty tight. use a vice clamps to hold stud while backing socket off. comes apart then install new spring put back together in reverse order and ur done. took me a half an hour per side and mayb a half an hour for the rear

I'm thinking I'm gonna have the shop take the springs and reinstall the new ones on the shocks. Then I just slap them back on.

I get nervous thinking about installing the rear springs at home....every time I attempt
a "do-it-yourself" at home, something ends up kicking my butt. [>:]
