Default CAI/tuning

alright, i want to get a CAI/tune from either one of the 2 sites everyone suggests. but with the whole tuning thing....i don't trust myself with it honestly. nervous i'll mess up the computer or something and then have some real problems with the car...seeing how it is my primary means of transportation, i can't have my car messing up. but im wondering, if i get the CAI/tune from one of them, how difficult is it to put on the CAI and then tune it? what is involved with doing the tune and CAI? thanks

Do you have the proper hand eye coordination to use a screwdriver and a wrench/socket?
Can you avoid compulsions to mess with the ignition while your tuner is flashing the ECU?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, then yes, you too can enjoy the benefits of having a CAI/tune on your Mustang. The only "tricky part" to this whole ordeal is making sure you don't damage the sensor when you transfer it from the stock intake to the upgraded version, and even then unless you suffer from Parkinson's disease it isn't really hard. Just be careful.

In all seriousness it is simply a matter of popping out a few screws, putting them back into the new one and following the rather easy instructions for flashing your engine. You'll do fine.

Are you referring to you tuning the car yourself? The custom tune file you buy is loaded through the handheld tuner and loaded onto vehicle. What's involved is ordering the intake, tuner, tune combo. First install your cai and then load the tune you want to use of your tuner onto your car.
