Default removing vinyl stripes

i removed my vinyl stripes from the trunk lid and cant seem to get the sticky residue off. what products would you recommend to get this off.

goo gone. or something citrus based works really well. thats what i used when i took my stirpes off.

They sell a sticker remover at the auto store, spray it on let it sit for a second and then just wipe with a microfiber. Also there is a 3m metal can, looks kinda like a bottle thinner would come it. It works well also.

3-m adhesive remover also. Goo gone wouldn't even phase mine! i think i used about 4 cans of 3-m and a LOT of towels. It took about 3 passes too, the first 2 passes i scraped it off with a plastic scraper (and credit card), the third was towels that got all gummed up. Now the BSM stripes I put on and now took off were super easy. Just peeled right off. Factory though.... egh.

Motsenbocker's Lift Off (bought at Wal-Mart)
Hair Dryer
Numerous old gift cards
Patience

Procedure: Apply coat of Lift Off, run hair dryer on section for 2 minutes, apply more Lift Off, scrape off - left me with ZERO residue!

Wd40 and a little heat works miracles! That's what I used when removing the side molding on my wifes chrysler 300.
