opinions on the CAI...
First off, are you planning on purchasing a tuner?? This greatly impacts which cold air intakes will work with your car. If you don't plan on buying a tuner your options will be limited.
Regarding opinions on intakes, each person is going to have a different opinion. Some will dislike one type while another will love it. If I were you I would look at the different intakes available and decide for yourself which one you like the best.

im still trying to fully understand the tuner issue...if i were to get one that didn't require being tuned....would that play a negative role on my CAI opposed to getting one that does require tuning? and how do i know which ones do require tuning and which one's dont?

Use the search feature. This issue is probably brought up multiple times per week. There is everything you ever wanted to know in the Drivetrain Performance section of this forum.
O.k., yes there will be a big difference between a cold air intake that requires a tune versus one that doesn't. The tune is where you will gain most your power. Most cold air intakes that don't require a tune aren't going to make a noticeable difference in power. As for which ones require a tune and which ones don't, the item description should tell you that. Your biggest power gains will come from a intake that requires a tune with the tune of course. You can also buy an intake that doesn't require a tune and still purchase a tune that would make a noticeable gain in power but it won't make as much as one that does require a tune.
