Default where to get exhaust nuts

i took my h pipe off last night and didnt haveenough time to put my stock one on. when i went to put it on today i lost the nuts that bolt the cats on to the manifold. i called the ford dealership and they said 11 bucks a nut. the guy said i had to buy it from them because other nuts cant take the heat of the exhaust. i didnt believe the guy. can i just get regular nuts from the big orange??

By the time you get an actual answer, you could have paid 11 bucks and fixed your problem, lol.

Go to LOWES... they have a good assortment of stainless steel bolts and nuts.
That's where I fish mine from.

Some stores are more organized than others, so you might have to try a couple.

Don't pay $44 please.

When I read the thread title, I could have sworn you were asking about those "nut" ornaments people hang from their car.

No, you're cool.
Just regular exhaust stuff.
Actually, the stainless is an improvement over stock.
Go back 4/5 days later and retorque them nuts.

I also double nut my exhaust system when the threads are long enough, especially with aftermarket parts.

Good luck budd.
