While searching for parts I see many places that claim The V6 and GT front bumpers will not inter change. I would like to know why ???

I have been thinking about buying a V6 car and putting on a take off GT bumper and grill, what are the problems in doing this?

Yes, to answer your question, the bumpers are interchangeable.. for the front, you need fender liners from a GT in conjunction with the bumper to make it fit right (also a $6 piece of foam that goes under the bumper..)

If you use a GT bumper, you need to use a GT grille.. and the same goes for a v6... no interchangeable grilles.. so don't even let your dreams have dreams about it.. lol [8D]

You might consider the other bumper options before you go with a GT one though..
(there are tons)

I have a v6 with the gt body, it worked like a charm, just find a cheap gt take out set..
