I have heard that it was not good for the tranny to do that. Builds up pressure and heat. I am not a mechanic though.

Factory gears for auto 3.31.

yup the 05's came with 3.31's and i think in 2006 or 7 there was an option for 3.55's.

not sure on the auto's.......but i am sure that the 05-06 manuals have the 3.55s. Look under your car (rear look at the diff and you'll see a sticker on it with your gear numbers on)

I would say no to putting in neutral while moving... I have done it on accident before and it made very bad sounds

I think if you did it all the time when slowing down especially from a high rate of speed it'll quickly wear on the brake rotors.

if you are going downhill just leave it in overdrive (5th) or turn it off it you find yourself going too fast downhill and would like to save your brakes.
Do not go into neutral. It's unsafe and if you're not on the gas pedal your not burning any more gas than if you are in neutral.

Well, putting it in neutral wont hurt anything in your transmission, that is too funny!

Not true. It reduces line pressure and can be very bad for trans internals if they don't get proper lubrication.
