Default Fuel Door Dented

I never park near any other cars, shopping carts, etc. but I noticed yesterday that my fuel door is dented. Very weird (and lucky I guess) that whatever hit it (which is still a mystery) only dented the fuel door.

I'm debating if I should take it to a dent removal guy, buy a new one and have it painted,or get a billit one. I'm not sure I like the look of the billit ones, they stand out too much for my personal taste. Does anyone make a gloss black billit fuel door?

My other option would be to find someone with a perfect condition black stock filler door (who swapped theirs for a billit, etc.). I didn't see anything in the classifieds forum but maybe I'll post something in the want ads.

Or you could buy the billet one and have it painted gloss black.. Poweder coating would prolly be about 40 $ on something that small.

SHR has anodized black. Also, if you email Marcello from SHR, he can probably have one painted to match for you.

Look for some paintless dent removal places in your city (Check the phone book or whatever, a lot of car detailing places have a dent removal person they use)

I had a small ding on my fuel door last week, took it over to a paintless dent removal place, the guy fixed it in about 5 minutes for $50, can't even tell there was ever a ding at all.

UPR has a gloss black billet door. I've seen some of them ebay for $10.00 less than they charge and free shipping to boot.

The UPR's are a complete copy of SHR's design, but they are not manufactured to the same tolerances, and the finishes aren't near as nice as SHR's. I refuse to give my money to a company that makes money off of copying other's designs, and that's what most of their products are. They obviously can't design well, because the stuff that is their own design is usually pretty cheesy looking.
