the shift points and such are a big concern of mine, and thats where i think there is going to be a bigger difference between each tuner

I have had EVolutions tunes. Bama, Brenspeed, with A CAI and Long tube headers.....(had all 3 with just the CAI as well) then I went to JDM And VMP with the saleen.....out of all of them there were things I liked on all....it is unfair for me to judge on VMP as Justins tune was for my saleen...and was the BEST freaking tune as far as shifting,torque...A/F etc....good luck

Had all three and some others......i run Bama torq or race most all the time

With that said, nothing wrong with Justin's or Brent's tunes as they will blow the stock tune away just the same. I just seemd to like the character that Bama has for his tunes a little more.

You will be pleased with any of them and there is no wrong choice IMO.

I'll be going to Brenspeed for their Dyno day on the 24th, I just switched tunes from JDM to Brent's, so far Brent's seem's stronger. I also had a B a m a tune and it rocked. I have a dyno sheet from JDM's tune and I'll be comparing it with Brent's, ofcourse this will be for a Saleen twin-screw.

a few have tried multiple, they are all close but many people like the feel of Bama tunes better.. they aren' necessarily faster or more HP though.

My reason I went with brenspeed was because I believe he has a wider range of products that I can get free tunes for if I order them through him. And I was planning on getting a saleen S/C stage 2 from him and I was told by a forum member here that with steeda cai/tune I'd get a discount on the Stage 2 price.. ofcourse now driving out to indiana + 650 install I might just install it myself anyway.. then I was thinking if im installing myself I could just get a whipple instead.. so.. ehh.. decisions.. decisions..

a couple things to note:

Bama does work with diablo and SCT tuners both and will update tunes for free no matter where you get you mods from
Brenspeed will update tunes for free when you buy parts from him
Not sure on Justins policy

I went in for a "dyno" tune. I already had an SCT canned tune installed and my tuner/mech said that he didn't want to charge me $150 for something that would only get another 10whp out of it. Tunes are overrated. When you supercharge or nos you NEED one, otherwise theres only a 10-15 whp diff between. Not worth it IMO.
