Default New Exhaust Set-Up

I'm currently running muffler deletes, SLP LMs. However I'm tired of the sound, I want something that sounds more "performance" than just loud. I want it to be loud still but have more of a tone to it, if you understand what I'm saying. I was thinking about getting the Bassani Race Axleback with a offroad H or X Pipe, what do you think? X or H & which brand?

You can try Cervini's Complete Exhaust setup... I just put one on my V6 and it honestly sounds like a V8 now... only problem Is now I have to get new rims and tires, because the exhaust is so low to the ground with my 16" rims that its litterally 2 inches from touch the ground... I am hoping 20" rims will fix that... The exhaust sounds great it comes complete with side skirts and everything. (dual side exhausts)...

Anyone have any input on as to if I should go with the X or H Pipe?

If it's an offroad H or X then brand doesn't matter, just make sure it's SS. As far as which pipe (H or X) it's all personal preference. The H will be deeper, the X raspier. Up to you.

I know what both do but I wanted to hear everyones opinions on which would sound better for a "performance" type of sound ...

Well I would have to say theX pipe since its a little raspier... My Cervini's exhaust system sounds like a real "Race Car"... but it also helps the perfomance a bit too... While I don't have access to exact numbers, I believe I read somewhere that you can expect anywhere from 15hp to 20hp with a custom exahust over the "Factory" stuff... At first I thought this sounded "To good to be true", but with my recent additions to my Mustang (Exhaust Kit, and Air-Ram Kit) I immediatley noticed a HUGE difference in performance... Accelerator is more responsive, and that little V6 really "EATS" now when I demand it...

I wish I could be of more help, but exahusts are simliar to rims... they all do their job, some just do it differently... but in the end, you will be happy either way...
