There is a screw behind the handle that you need to remove. Its covered by a plate. Pry off the plate and remove the screw. This link should help:

there are screws all along the outer edge of the door that need to be removed....

once those are off, there is a plate behind the silver door handle that you pry off from the front of the plate towards the rear of the plate and there is a srew behind that which takes a star shaped bit...beware of these star screws because they are sometimes EXTREMELY difficult to break loose...

next, there is a plate behind the PLASTIC PULL HANDLE that you pull off from the top of the plate...tehre is another star screw back there....

after that, the part of the plastic pull handle that has the power window switch is also a plate itself so you can pull that off of the top of the pull handle and disconnect the wire connector from the power window switch...you will look down into where you just pulled the window switch plate from...towards the inside of the door panel just inside that little compartment is one of those smaller screws like the ones that were fastened around the outer edge of the door panel; you want to remove that one as well..........

also, that triangular plastic shroud that covers the power mirror screws needs to come off....just grab it, squeeze it onto itself and pull and it will come right off, but be careful, on the drivers side a wire is connected to the mirror controller so youll have to disconnect that after you pull it off...the passenger side doesnt have a wire connector....

once you have removed all of this, grab the door panel by the plastic pull handle and pull up on it...dont like pull as hard as you can, just gradually work it off because the silver door handle cable is still attached....if the door panel doesnt move at all, then that means i probably missed a screw somewhere in this description but just find the area that is holding the door and explore, but i believe i covered all the screws that need to be removed....

the silver door handle doesnt have to be disconnected to change out the speakers but its an option if you choose to disconnect that as well....
