i feel your pain. i didn't even have 3k on mine when i hit bambi. the deer lived until i got out and choked him to death. screwed up the hood, passenger fender had to be replaced, headlight bezel, and smashed in the passenger door. at least the air bags didn't deploy.

To the OP: At least it wasn't a moose. My friend hit one of those in a Suburban and it was totaled.
