My Uncle had a '70 when i was growing up and it was recently sold. This is sort of a tribute. I enjoy it very much. I'll post more from the rear later on.

Why do you have to bea jerk; the guy built a caras a tribute to his uncle and his mustang. I think it is really nice. I doubt that your car is a one off custom so I guess we are all driving fakes by your definition.

That's alright pat123, everyone is entitled to their opinion. If we all had the same taste our cars would all look the same. I certainly don't want that. Is it a fake...I don't think so. True, ford has not made a Mach 1 since 2004, but i started working on one in 2006 and now i have one. There are 2 ford dealerships here in town. When i pull up at either, the buildings clear and people walk right up to the car.
"Holy crap...I didn't know they brought the mach1 back!" "If ford had made an s197 mach1 this is exactly what it would have looked like!" "Reminds me of a car i had in High School in the early 70's!"
These are a few of the normal reactions i get. Folks from all age groups. It's ok if some don't care for it or think it's a fake. I built it how i wanted it and will contiue to do so. Some of us don't need television to tell us whats cool these days.
