Default "phone" button

Hi everyone,I'm new here and I haven't had my '08 GT for a week yet. Does anyone know what the Phone button does on the shaker 500, well other than say "no phone"?

Thanks

jim

Its the "mute" button.

Wouldnt it have just been easier to press it and see what happens?

No it's not the "mute" button. I wouldn't have been stupid enough not to try it first! Why would it say 'No phone"? if it were the mute button? The on/off button mutes the radio nicely I find.

Thanks for your help but try again.

Apparently it does, well or doesn't. I just checked again and it doesn't mute the radio only says "no phone" and I'm like no Sh!$. The owners manual doesn't say anything other than when pressing the button it displays "no phone"???

is it possibly bluetooth enabled?

"no phone" sounds like its expecting a phone to be connected. I have a bluetooth pioneer deck in my car, and my phone button will connect me to my phone (i konw, entirely different equipment, but at least functionally similar)
