I ordered a kit from HP and after waiting 7 weeks it still hadn't shipped so I did a charge back and got my money back...bought a procharger D1SC kit and haven't looked back...

different suggestion for turbo's
I have a single turbo from Powerhouse. Powerhouse (Powerhouse411)is my only experience with a turbo, so I cannot make any comparisons/contrasts with HP or any other turbo product. Very satisfied with Powerhouse. Started with their 67mm base unit and upgraded to a 76mm. Their base unit will more than suffice your needs and leave plenty of room for upgrading, if youget the itch. The aftersales service is great too.

Two of my buddies have the Hellion Turbos on the 07 GTs and they have been great. One GT has about 10k on the turbo while the other one has around 35k miles on it. They are both very fast and have been very reliable for them... the only issue they have had with them is that the pipes hang a bit lower than some of the other turbo kits so you need to be a bit careful with speedbumps and steep inclines.

I have twin turbos on mine by Turbonetics and am very happy.

Thanks so much for the info... keep piling it on if you have anymore. I am doing research on it, and it looks like I may be going in this direction. Its upsetting that its taking so long for HP to send a kit, but I might be able to look at the bright side and save some money for install, and buy the polished unit, etc.

If you are looking at single turbo kit specifically then it would be between Hellion and Powerhouse for me. They both have alot of turbo's on s197 and both have great customer service. The larger turbo standard for the powerhouse kit is very nice, but the polished look of the Hellion is amazing. When you pop the hood up people comerunning to see what it is. Like the posted above you have to be a little careful with the Hellion kit cause the pipes hang a little lower. I have the o/r hellion and run steeda ultralite springs which is about 1 1/4 inch drop. I can get over any speed bumps without scraping, I just take it slow. If you watch the the video in my sig you can see the pipes when Im acceleratingmy car.
