It is week of 5/2 and my status is my car will be built week of 4/25

 

Got a shipment date to the dealership around May 10th.

Hey Riff, I was given a build date of 4/14. A week later the dealer told me the car was actually built and was on a train somewhere. He said arrival, in the northeast, should be around 5/5. The GT came into the dealer 5/2. Original order date was 1/21/05. So keep the faith.

 

Yeah I know, I told my Dealer Rep to get it put on that new 380 jumbo jet to test out it's cargo capabilities. I guess I'll just have wait it out[:@]

 

Ordered mine 3/28. As of 4/29 still C/U. Dealer insists that it will be an '05 and to expect it around the end of June. I hope to get a build date within a few weeks. Sound reasonable?

The 2 black on black GTOs at my local Pontiac dealer are starting to smile at me.

I ordered March 1, and have build of May 23. so that is 13 weeks...

If you went by that.. you should get a build of June 13.

So after I get a build date, how long does it usually take from that point until I drive it home? I know it varies, but on average...

 

Well, I ordered mine on 3-11 and still Clean and Unscheduled. So, I should hopefully find out some different news soon! Yeah!

 

From what I have seen here in the threads, the dealer has been telling people that it is about 10 days to delivery from the build date. That is what my dealer told me. It prob. depends on how far away you are from the plant. The last status I was able to get from the 800 # this last Monday was as of 4/29 my vehicle was released from the assembly plant. I am in N.E. Illinois. A guy up the road from me had the same status as of Monday and he got his car yesterday. When I tried to get another status yesterday it kept transfering me to an analyst. So I am hoping my car is on its way.
