Regardless they look hot as hell and this has been debated many times before and though I feel you are part right the drilled and slotted rotors do help improve performance (a little)....not as much as changing your brake pads and upgrading to SS lines though
ORIGINAL: Legion5

ORIGINAL: MUSTANGLOVER73

Also thinking about upgrading to drilled and slotted rotors andbraided brake lines...where is a good place to get these? Where can i buy the gt500 rear brake pads?
drilled and slotted rotors reduce braking preformance. The drilling and slotting was designed to reduce rotating weight by however much metal is removed, not improve preformance. This is a FACT.
OH and just answer the OP's question and NOT make this a debate on what the rotors can and cannot do....the OP did not ask that!
play nice everyone

Ill definately be changing out to the braided lines and hopefully the hawk brake pads.Would the same braided brake lines work for the gt500 brakesthat work for the stock gt brake lines and who sells them?

Great question and would the stock GT lines work on the GT500 calipers or do we have to go with the SS?
