Default SHELBY GT500 REAR BRAKE KIT????

Hey guys, i won this auction for the gt500 front big brake kithttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...47480&rd=1 .I was wondering if they have a matching rear brake kit to complete the set and whosells them?I looked on the shelbyperformanceparts website and didnt see the matching set. Anybody with any info?

The GT500 uses the same rear brakes we do, but with different pads.

I think Steeda makes a 13" kit and it's only $600. I think.

Also thinking about upgrading to drilled and slotted rotors andbraided brake lines...where is a good place to get these? Where can i buy the gt500 rear brake pads?

drilled and slotted rotors reduce braking preformance. The drilling and slotting was designed to reduce rotating weight by however much metal is removed, not improve preformance. This is a FACT.

When you go through FRPP, or any of the other retailers that sell the GT500 brake kit, they will include the rear pads. I'm not sure which brand they use, but most any aftermarket brand such as Hawk will do.

see, I can do it too. [8D]

drilled and slotted may not help braking distances, but they DO help with heat dispersion and brake fade.
