OK well that helps. I had been under the impression you could just mate up any midpipe with LT headers as long as you stayed within brands.

So how much louder is it inside the car? I already have boomtubes but the rest is stock. I'm just wondering if I can expect an increase in volume both in and out. Hard to really tell from youtube vids.

Also, is this the right pypes to get:

The new one?

I have the o/r prochamber with boomtubes. I think any off road pipe would trumpet with the boomtubes. Harraid5711alsohad trumpeting I believe. He installed resonators to cure that. I'm going to do the same. Something about the freer flowing off road pipes that causes trumpeting. I plan to add resonators this weekend and make another video to have a before and after clip.

Ah really? That sucks. I was hoping that trumpeting was confined to the prochamber config and I could avoid that by going this route.[&:]

Yeah it seems like trumpeting goes hand in hand with any off road pipe and "muffler delete" type of setup. I think if you had a chambered muffler with an off road pipe then trumpeting might not be an issue...I could be wrong but all of the off road pipes and muffler delete setups I've heard had trumpeting issues and I haven't heard of any trumpeting problems with o/r and chambered mufflers.

i think the LT's and 2 3/4" x pipe helps w/ that.

That's the one. And remember you will need a tune to disable the rear O2's.

I don't know. That sounds like trumpeting when you rev it high before shifting. It's that high pitched "Braaaap" sound. Maybe my interpretation of trumpeting is different? You can hearitat49seconds, 52secs, and mostly at57secs into the 2nd video. It was also trumpeting when you were just revving it at a standstill.

Its not just the straight through muffler deletes that trumpet. I have an O/R H pipe with MAC mufflers and it trumpets. I love the low deep rumble of the MAC's but I HATE the trumpeting. I wonder if resonators would fix that with my setup?
