They're fantastic street tires, but don't even think you'll get good traction at the track. It's completely different there. With 4.10's, I'll burn them through 3rd without even trying at the track. There's no substitute for soft tires at the track.
There used to be 2 tread designs. The original KDW design was pretty traditional. The KDW2/KDW NT (New Tread) is the same tire, just a new tread design. More aggressive. When people talk about the BFG KDW, that's usually the one they are referring to.
