the WB a/f gauge will be a lot more accurate than going w/ the fuel pressure alone. the fuel pressure gauge will tell you how the fuel pump is working, but the WB a/f will tell you what the ratio between air and fuel, most importantly at WOT. i believe the WB a/f is the most important gauge to get for safety purpose in a FI setup and for tuning, if you are going to do datalogging. even if you tune on a dyno the bung welded into the exhaust will be more accurate than putting a sniffer at the end of the exaust. IMO if you got money for a SC, a few hundred bucks more is not that much to keep an eye on your investment. yes, those gauges are expensive, but it eases my mind knowing everything is working correctly.
Your absolutely right. Another question though, is it ok to use the mechanical boost/vac gauge or should I go electric with that as well. Im getting the electric fuel pressure guage trying to save some money for some Mickeys.
mechanical boost will work fine, no need for the electric one. plus it's easier to install too.
when you say Mickeys, you mean beer?

I would get the WB A/F, the boost gauge in mechanical (reads boost a little faster/ easier hook up), and a fuel pressure gauge..... JMO but check out the aeroforce gauge for a connection to your OBDII port for readings from your cars computer.... but any of the above mentioned are great!

i have the SOS 3 gauge pilar pod, and it is a personal preference. but i've heard that the autometer dashpod warps over time. i like the SOS pilar pod bc it matches the interior color and looks OEM. i went w/ the pilar pod bc i also sometimes mount my livewire on the windshield so the center dashpod would have been in the way. in this pic the car is off so you cant see the innovate A/F gauge on the bottom.

I do plan on doing both. I think it would be easier to read the a piller while driving so I want to put my most important guages there.
