im sure theres someone here who has already done it.......

i ordered GTS taillight covers but now i just need to blackout the 3rd brake light but which method should i use? Should i spray it, tint it, or is there a plastic blackout panel thing that i can buy to put over it?...im leaning towards just tinting it, but i cant find any place that i can just buy the 3rd brake light blackout piece....dont tell me ill have to buy ALL the pieces just so i can have the 1 piece that i need......

have you guys found anything of this sort?

 

tombstang painted his completely, I have tint on mine and it looks just fine plus you can always take it off if you want, I found mine on ebay

 

so ill have to order the whole tint kit just to get the piece i want right?

 

you could always just go buy some actual window tint, cut it to fit the brake light and use that. Seems like the easisest/best way to do it.

 

let me check when i get home, i think I have an extra one you can have for free.

mine was already sprayed when i purchased the car used back in october '07...

it's fading pretty bad already - enough for me to want to go buy a cheap replacement takeoff.
