Default Replacing my plugs with Champion 7989's (mid upgrade question!!)

I'm mid-process of swapping my plugs out with Champion 7989's. I've got one head done and whenreplacing the coil packs I don't hear the distinguishable "snap" that I'm used to when replacing plug wires (or coil packs in this instance). Should you hear a snap when these seat???

If I weren't mid stream upgrading my plugs I'd be more easy going, but these don't seem to seat well onto the plugs for some reason.

I push the coil packs back down onto the plugs to where the cp's bolt up but never get an affirmative "snap"????

As easy as this side came out and after seeing that the plugs are in EXCELLENT shape, I'm wondering if I should even worry with the other side.....

the coil packs sit 4' down into the plug socket. you can't "see" anything dude.

There is no audible 'snap' when setting the COPs in place. Just feels kinda like a wet noodle. As long as you have almost no space between the COP and its bolt up hole, your good to go.
