Default Stripes so far. What do you think ?

Ok.. so after the WHOLE day, and 8 feet of vinyl ruined, I've come up to this so far.. I'll finish the rest tomorrow.
There are some little imperfections but eh.. I can deal with them.. Nothing to obvious I wouldn't think.
So let me know your opinions so far.

Not bad.....gotta admire someone willing to do his or her own work. More patience than I have.

now here's the dilema I'm having. the bumper is coming out a bit crooked. I'm thinking about not doing the bumpers.. I don't think I will have enough vinyl left to do the bumpers after I give the rear a little more love tomorrow.
Anyone did stripes without the bumpers ? how does it look like ? pics ?

On another note, yes I'll post more pics when I'm done. I'll tell you though.. this is no joke.. lol but I would rather not have someone else mess up my car. at least this way I can blame my self. lol

looking good, make sure you wrap both bumpers it will look off IMO with out them done. The trick to get the bumpers straight : Take painters tap from the trunk lid with it up, and pull it to the front of the car. With minor adjustments you will have all your stripes dead on. Good luck

I agree. I don't think it looks as good if the stripes don't go all the way down the bumpers. But it is looking good so far.

yah the trunk is kicking my ***. any suggestions on that ? Remember I don't have a precut kit for the trunk. so I cut them with an exactor knive.
I have the rear blackout panel, so I don't need to cut around the fake gascap.. but that third light is a BI*$# to do..
I'll take any helpful hints on that one.

you're going to need a hairdryer to do the bumpers, and it helps a lot on the trunk as well.

I did my stripes a couple of months ago, and it was nearly impossible for the vinyl to contour to the bends without being heated up.

Buy the precut pieces that you will need for the bumpers, might be worth the hassle...
