Default Deep/Agressive sound

I simply want to know which exhaust system for $500 or less will give me the deepest and most agressive sound. I really dont want to sound like a ricer. Ive heard about every sound clip out there but they vary. Ive heard mixed reviews about every single brand of axel back so now i'm confused. I have a v6 but I'm converting to dual. Ive been back and forth between flowmaster to pypes violator to magnaflow to recently MAC but depending on which youtube video you watch, is how deep or higher pitched car sounds. Please help, i'm going crazy with this.

I have a MAC O/R Prochamber and Flowmasters... doesn't get much deeper than that. I love the sound.

I would have to agree with kingdong. I have this same setup on my car and absolutely love it. I am not being biased, just because I have this same setup. I have gone through 6 or 7 different setups before reaching this one. I have had Corsa's, Borla Stingers, Flowmasters, Mac's, Magnaflows, and now back with Flows. I had all of these with the O/R prochamber, and nothing sounded as good as the Flow's, which is why I went back to the Flows. This setup will cost you a little bit more than $500, but it is well worth it. If you want to keep the stock midpipe and just switch out the axelbacks, than I hear Boomtubes are the way to go. Just my .02!!

guys he has a v6..... its gonna really be hard to get the perfect sound with a v6. No disrespect on the v6 cause i had one in 01... did the same search you are looking for back in 03, i went with 2 5/8" mac headers, had 2.5" o/r h pipe, 2.5" mac muffers..... the car sound wonderful at ldle, real deep adn beefy it really did sound great, the problem was there was about a 1500 rpm range where the exhaust would trumpet.... omg did it sound like crap, i wanna say it was arounr the 3500-4800rpm range but when my car would actually downshift into the right gear you woulnt noticed it to much cause the procharger made the car pull fast, i had over 320hp on that car. But in dd because i had 4.10 gears and a 3000 stall i heard it all the time, it was so annoying...... all im saying is be careful.

Bassani!

I have a Bassani axle back on my '08 V6 and Bassani duels on my '01 GT. Believe it or not the sound is not a whole lot different. The V6 sounds really good. Agressive with no drone or popping. I got the single here...

But you can also get a dual set up....

Ok, now I know everyone thinks theirs in the best but im telling you that my setup IS the best. hehehe

I've had many older guys tell me my car sounds like the old muscle. One even said my car sounds like the Bullitt in the movie bullitt.

I have Pypes MM with no cats. goes from the turbo exhaust to a Y then into the MM setup. I LOVE IT
