I have a C&L CAI with the Brenspeed 93 tune. I have inepction coming up in NY. Can I just load the stock tune for inspection with the C&L still installed?

 

You should be able to load the stock tune and be ok. The car will run a little off with the stock tune and the intake, be sure to drive nice while the stock tune is in to avoid any complications.

 

why would you need to change the tune? intake/tune is perfectly legal. as long as your CEL is not on, you'll pass.

 

I just got mine inspected Sunday.......Had to put the Stock Air Box on, and flash my Brenspeed Tune back to Stock. If your Tune is like mine the Rear 02 Sensors are turned off, this will NOT pass NYS Inspection. It's a little bit of a pain in the Butt, but it only comes around once per year.

 

You can run it WITH the intake as long as you don't go above 2750 RPM, you also have to drive for at least 50 miles like this for the recently reset flag to go off. It's very hard to drive lik this, but it's your call if you want to do it or not.

 

Just make sure the rear O2 senors are turned on and ur fine
