Where to get a replacement C&L Intake Filter?
I need to replace my filter for my 07 GT C&L Street Intake. The only place I saw one was on cnlperformance.com for $40, does anyone know of a cheaper place, or should I just get one of those K&N recharge kits at pepboys or autozone. Thanks

May i ask why you are replacing it??? If you are just doing it because your filter is super dirty one way to bring it back to life is by taking the filter out spraying some simple green on it and rinse in well and you will notice go from dripping black to clean water and the filter will be good as new. I saw my friend do it on his two days ago and it def made a big difference. After rinsing it blow dry it or just let it air dry until is completely dry before putting it back on!!! It might be a "ghetto" way of doing things but hey....it def does the job!!

let it dry naturally after cleaning. blow drying is not recommended.
if you want to replace because it is damaged, $40 is a very fair price already. does the GT version use a 4" flange diameter filter?

Ok I just went to Autozone and bought the recharge kit, it was only $11. So a lot cheaper than a new $40 intake. I was just trying to see if the intake was cheaper, then it would have been easier just to replace it, but since the recharge kit is so cheap I will just recharge mine. How long does it need to dry for after I clean it and oil it?

if you can't figure out how to re-oil a filter properly and would rather just replace it every time, then you have no business under the hood at all. sorry, but that's JMO.

mmm actually the reoiling is a pain in the ***. and since you have a v6 i assume you either dont have another vehicle or you dont have anything to do. because you have to let the filter air dry before you put it back in which takes quite a while. so in the end you might as well by a replacement so you dont have to sit and wait for the other one to dry. time is money and in the time it takes for you to let the old ratty filter dry you could be making the money back you spent on a new filter.
