Just go with what looks best for you. It's your ride just please please please dont buy a hood with a ridiculous non functioning hood scoop, thats as bad as putting a nitrous bottle in the trunk and not having any lines for it.
Also remember a larger cowl hood will take away a little from your forward vision. I also reccomend hood pins for any carbon or fiberglass hood for safety.

yeah they are part of the hood.. in the last few pics I painted them black with plasti dip..a spray on rubber from a can like spray paint tombstang told me about

Those screens look pretty ugly IMO.
They need to be painted black.
If I had that hood, I'd put some stainless weaved mesh in those slots.
Like some of the Jags have on their grilles, only smaller weaves.

It is a good looking hood though.

yeah those screens do need to be painted black.. I thought it might look ok not painting it when I got my hood done but hated the look once it was done.. glad I painted it in the end. I actually thinking of pulling it out all together and just leaving it without it... can't wait to see what it looks like friday with th gt500 front end!

I have a 4 inch cowel from Cervini.As stated above, a4 inch cowel for regular street use, does limit forward vision, especially sharp right hand turns. My car has very limited street use. 95% track and 5% street (just enough to keep it legal)
