Default Window not going up..??

I have a problem with my dirvers side window. It goes up and down no problem, but when i go to close the door getting out it dosen't go up that half in inch or so to seal up the window good. It drops down an inch or so to open the door, but to close the door it stays down. Any ideas? Thanks, Jordan

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes and letting the computer reset. If that doesn't work (and it should), try the window reset procedure. With windows up press the down button until the window retracts compeltely and hold for an extra 2 seconds. Then roll up and hold for an extra 2 seconds.

Turn on Key. Hold window button down for 5 seconds, than up for 5 seconds. That will reset the window memory.

I had this problem randomly come up, except the window didnt go down that little bit when you opened, so I couldnt shut the door since the window didnt fit back in. it went away the next time I started the car though, only happened once. I also have had the 'auto window all the way down' not work randomly too. weird.

It also happened to me. Right after I installed my HIDs, funny tho, I had took a trip to the store real quick came back it was fine. Started to wash my car and vacuuming inside the car and when I closed the door i noticed it didnt seal. I went back in lowered it all the way down, then back up and when I got out of my car it was fixed...Mustangs have some weird problems sometimes LOL

I got a 'window wont go back up from the short droppostion' story.
Exit vehicle, window goes down to short dropposition.
Close door to first latch postion not fully closed.
Dome light stays on. Dome light times out after a while.
Open door, get itand close it completely. Widow stays down to
the short drop position.
Now what.
Door closed and window down to tne short drop position still.
Turned on the ignition key and window then closed to the fully up position.
