Default ROUSH KIT INSTALL

guys,

i'm getting ready to install my roush front fascia and spoiler... but i have some important install questions.

1- for the front fascia, am i going to need the GT foam bumper piece or will the stockV6 one work fine? basically is there anything i need to replace before mounting this new fascia???

2- for the spoiler, is it necessary to drill EVERY hole on the template or will the spoiler work just fine using the 4 factory holes and 3M tape???
(same question for the side pieces, will the 1 main bolt w/ some tape hold it or do i need to drill all holes???)

thanks,
will

My spoiler had four studs on the center piece and 3M tape, the end pieces had 3-4 studs. I drilled the holes they suggested and ended up ovaling one out a little to get the end pieces perfect.

Tape will hold it unless some force is put on it or a manufacture defect etc. If I were to do it again I would drill holes.

1- the front fascia install will require:

gt front fender liners
lower radiator deflector
gt bumper foam

2- there are some guys that have not drilled all the holes and have no problems, but i figured that roush says to drill the holes, so i will too.

both are really easy installs! enjoy

The only drilling I'd like to see is in ANWAR.

The center piece isn't that great of a fit at each end, so for a perfect flush result, you will have to drill there.
The side pieces are so light that you don't need to drill, period.
If you do, only one of the 3 holes on top will be enough.

I installed a few of those spoilers (no drilling) and none of them are lost.
The stud at the pointy end needs to be cut out clean with part of it's base.
I have the SS duck tail and it's all held with 3M tape (2 years now).

The V6 foam (absorber) will work.
Just take that little piece in the center top, off. It says V6 on it.

Also, I like it when you guys are asking WHERE can I purchase a Ford part?
Challenge yourselves... A wild guess: Ford dealer??

well forgive me for not statingmy underlying assumption that there are more cost efficient sources from which to purchase such parts.. i naturally assumed that the dealership would bea last resort, but by all means, pleaseenlightenus as tothe manner in which ford parts can be purchased from ford dealers... who'd-a thunk it???

but thanks for the info on theabsorber piece.
