Tune Only with Stock GT?
I am currently doing this. My JLT is on order. I noticed a difference w/ just the canned 87 per. tune. On three dyno pulls I gained 7 hp and 15tq. There was an even bigger difference when put in the 89 tq tune from bamachips.

Supposedly, just the tune on a stock GT should add anywhere from 10-20+ HP depending on the octane and tune. The CAI with the tune adds perhaps another 3-5... supposesdly.
If you're looking for a tune to save you gas $$, don't. If the price of gas worries you that much, use the $200 and some odd dollars that the tune costs and use it for gas. If you're looking for a stiffer woody from your ride, get the tune and put the $$ of gas out of your head. Better yet, get the CAI & tune.

my 07 gt was stock and i put the 93 brenspeed tune in.... all i can say is it makes a very nice difference... especially getting rid of the throttle lag..... omg when i put the stock tune back in for teh dealer to work on the car i couldnt believe the difference... it was well worth the money even though i didnt get a cai.. now im gonna have to get one for the 500 since i sold the tuner with the car...
