Default Autolite HTO sparkplugs

I bought some autolight plugs for the procharger install, and was just curious if anyone had any problems with them. Some one told me not to run iridium or platinum plugs which I think the HTOs are. Anyone know why he'd tell me that or have any problems?

First, there are no Iridium plugs for our engines (yet). Second, there is nothing wrong with either Iridium or platinum, unless you consider long service life a problem. I'd love to know where these myths come from. Your plugs should be fine, although they are still the oldtwo piece design. Just be sure to put some nickel anti-seize on the ground electrode shield before installation. Don't put it on the threads.
