Default Boomtubes: User Error or Manufactured Flaw?

Fedex delivered my new boomtubes from Ninosport yesterday. I was trying to get them put on today. The hanger closest to the bumper lines up pretty close to where it should be but the other hanger is off by atleast 1-2 inches. These hangers are pretty heavy duty and I don't think I can bend them. I've already tried adjusting the mid-pipe but that only gives a little change in the hangers position. Any ideas how to fix this?

Attached is a picture.

Turn the hanger around so the bar is on the bottom (Take the hanger as it is, flip it horizontally, and turn it 90* counter-clockwise). That should fix it. That'll put the hanger to the right, instead of down.
