For those of you with Steeda Underdrive Pulleys...
Please look at the water-pump pulley and let me know if it's fading from black to a whitish color. Also, let me know how long you've had them on.
I've had mine on for a coupleof months and my pulley is fading from black to white and I don't think it's acceptable - at all. If this is the case, then I don't think anyone should be buying Steeda UDPs. Let me know - thanks!!
BTW - no liquid, gases, people, etc.. have touched the pulley for it to cause any fading - ever. Thanks again.

Is it where the belt rides on the w/p pulley, maybe it skewed on the pulley and wearing the pulley and the belt. Have you checked the belt for excessive wear?

Yes, I can eventually but not until later. The black is fading to a whitish color. I tried wiping it off withWD40 and stuff but it doesnt come off. My performance shop said they called Steeda and Steeda said that its their "zinc primer" or some sh*t like that. They said that it happens to all Steeda pulleys but no one here is reporting that issue. I dont know what I should do now...[&o] My life is miserable.
