Default a/c not working

went to turn on the A/C for the first time last week, and it doesnt work. i let it run for a good 1/2 hour with the A/C blasting, and still nothing.

i remember there was a recall for some 2008s. was it for the A/C by chance??

guess i have to return it to stock, and take it back to the dealer.[]

anyone else have to same problem, or had??

Take it to the dealer and have them check it. You don't have to return it to stock unless you did something that involves changes to the compressor. You should have them check for a leak in the A/C unit.

That may be a fuse issue. I don't know which one controls the A/C.

Sounds like there may have been a leak in the system, when it runs low on refigerant it will not engage the electric clutch on the copressor. Of course it could be an electrical issue as well, or a bad sensor or even maybe an unplugged harness. ( double check all connections before going to the dealer as most wont cover it if you unpluged something)

Before you take it in. Just going to state this, no dis-respect intended. When you turn the dial
to the "cold" position and then kick on the fan, if the A/C does NOT automatically engage, try
pressing the A/C button (it will light up orange). Is yours lighting up orange?

When I got mine it needed a re-charge... You would think a new ride would be good to go. They should be able to get you handled at the dealer.. +1

Before I even left the lot for the test drive I had no AC. The seal in the compressor was bad. I guess theres a TSB on that.
