front wheel shaking like CRAZY!!!
ok, got my wheels and tires about a month ago...staggered 20's with 255/35/20 up front and 295/40/20 in the back...about 1500 miles on them and my steering wheels shimmies back and forth pretty good off and on between 40 mph and 85 mph, i initially thought it was just a balance prob but ive taken them in to get them balanced twice in the past week and sat there and watched the second time to make sure it balanced out perfectly...but it still does it!!! thinkin it might be and imperfection with the tire but im clueless and so is the shop, any ideas about what it can be?

I had the same problem with my 20's! I took it to the shop and the mechanic there said something about a plastic clip that's connected to something with the breaks that causes the wheel to not sit flush/flat against the hub. Get it taken care of ASAP. It cost me $160 to get it fixed because I ruined a number of the studs that you bolt the wheel to.

ya just take the wheels off. there are these little clip things put on during the assembly line on the wheel studs. 1 per wheel to hold the calipers on or something. just take them off and it will be smooth sailing.

Seems odd to me that if it was the retaining clip, that it would have just started. If that was it, I would think you would have noticed it right away....Anyway, here is a pic of said retaining clip, just in case...Also, some rims call for centering hubs.

and is there only 1 retaining clip per hub or should there be more than one?

Your probably missing the spacers rings. They sit around the hub and fill in the extra space between the hub and the rim. If there is and gap you'll get nasty vibrations. If its not that could be a loose front end part.
