Default GT bumper with v6 Grill

While my car was parked it was backed into by some chick and my bumper got all messed up, and before that it was hit with two eggs, keyed from the front passenger fender all the way to the rear bumper, shaving creamed on top, and something fell on the hood and dented it along with a few door dings (regardless of how far away i park) and someone took a damn chunk out of the back section of my driver door handle.

Anyway... moral of the story, its going in the body shop for paint (and minor body work) and it cost about the same to pick up aGT bumper as a v6 one so i jumped on the GT bumper. Will the v6 grill work with the GT bumper? because the grille i have is fine, and i really dont want to drop $300 or more on a GT one and fog light wiring kit. Thanks so much

No, the grilles are no interchangeable, you will need to get a new one, but you don't have to get fog lights

no it wont fit, i've seen the gt grills on ebay for like a 100 bucks, and the switch is 85shipped..so aroun 185 for both..which is well worth it.

Why won't it fit? Too big or too small? I can deal with a little gap. I may have to go bullett but i dont want to put much money in this car. Can't stand that my mom made me get a v6, so im just waiting to pay it off so i can get something else.

No it will not fit but if you are going to get it painted consider the added expense of the grill as an investment. It will pay off when finally get to trade it for a GT.

Grilles are not interchangeable and if you're planning on getting another Mustang...GT this time I guess...you should wait for the 2010 Models
