Exciting news!!!! According to UPS my new hood should be delivered on Friday 6/13. My body shop said they can start work on Monday, installing the hood and painting my stripes,and be done bythe end of next week.

Congrats. I love my concept hood. It is hard to find the right placeto puthood pins on itthough. Post pics when you get it on.

 

Why does it take a body shop to install a hood? Shouldn't it be a 10 minute piece of cake install?

 

I'm guessing it may need to be preped and painted or if it comes completely painted, then preped and painted for the stripes.

 

Cervini's hoods don't require a lot of prep.

Also, removing/installing a hood by yourself isn't necessary a piece of cake.
I can do it fine but to respect a certain chronology.
With a friend, it's easy.
