Just came back for a car detailling shop to make an appoinment to wax my car and he told me I cant wax it for at least one year since its brand new and it has a paint sealer on it from the factory and the wax wont adhere to the paint has anyone herd of this before
In the old days when they painted cars with lacquer, sometimes "they" said to wait a few months before waxing, on the theory that the lacquer needed to "dry." That never made sense to me since when we used to paint cars with lacquer, we were sanding, compounding, and waxing in a couple of days.
These days with the enamel based paints, there is nothing to wait for.
