So I found a guy willing to sell me a new gen 1 street scene body kit for my v6. Side skirts + front bumper 275 bucks!!! I have a couple questions tho. This will be my first body kit on a car.

1.) How much will this cost to have these items plus a rear bumper painted and put on? Just a rough estimate. Im looking for a decsent paint job and want it to match which i dont think will be a problem with a new 08 black mustang.

2.) Do these Street Scene kits usually come ready to be painted or is there alot of prepping and stuff involved?

3.) And does anybody have any pics of there mustangs with this kit already installed?

Try google or yahoo for pics. Also just find a trusted body shop and ask them for a quote. Also shop around find the best deal, but make sure its a good reputable shop. Ask people who have had work done.

 

1) costed me $250 to get the front bumper painted and put on, but it was done by someone i know so i got a bit of a discount. unless you get it done at maaco the bumper should be more than 250.
2)pretty much ready to be painted, not much prep work needed

 

It cost me 1000 to be painted and installed. The bodyshop said it was good that kit was polyurethane easier for paint and installation.

 

Check the pic section; there should be several with that kit on them there if you want to see what it will look like; maybe even a black one.
